| | MEDICATIONS and NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS To help you with jet lag, possible lack of sleep, and to help ensure you get the nutrients needed for a busy schedule, it's a good idea to take at the very least a good quality multivitamin and mineral supplement. A convenient multi for men is True Food All Man, and for women we would recommend True Food Wise Woman. These are food based and can be taken with or without food, making them quite convenient. Pack all medications you will need on your trip in your purse, briefcase or carry-on luggage, so you don't lose them if your luggage is delayed. Make sure you bring more than enough, and store them in their original containers, which lists instructions on how to take them. Also, when flying abroad, the original container identifies the medicines for custom officials. | True Food All Man

The main symptoms are stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, sweating, and dizziness. Motion sickness can be minimized before and during travel by moderating intake of food, fluids, and alcohol. Eat enough to keep blood sugar stable though. Fixing the eyes on a stationary object or on the horizon can help, as can lying down and keeping the eyes closed. Other measures include choosing a seat where motion is felt least (for example, in the centre of an airplane, over the wing), refraining from reading, and sitting by an open window (not in an airplane, of course!) or an air vent if possible. A cabin in the middle of a ship close to water level may reduce motion sickness in some people. | TIP: Ginger has been used very successfully for travel sickness on any mode of transport. A high potency capsule of ginger is best, but real ginger cookies or ginger tea can also be helpful. Health4youonline fulfil this need perfectly." Christine Gandy Managing Director Business Travel Solutions | | | | PESTICIDE SPRAYING (INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF AIRCRAFT) Officially called "disinsection". Aircrafts' interiors and exteriors (and sometimes crew and passengers) which are headed for a variety of airports (including the United Kingdom) are routinely sprayed with pesticides, to kill any insects on board that might pose a threat to plants, animals or human health. Passengers on flights arriving in the United Kingdom from a variety of countries receive a toxic pesticide spray shower whilst in their seats, and the majority of us don't even notice or question it. Alternatively, a strong pesticide (strong enough to kill bugs for eight weeks) is sprayed one hour before passengers embark, and air conditioning is then left on to allow surface moisture to evaporate!!! Symptoms that crew and passengers have reported include sinus problems, swollen and itchy eyes, cough, difficulty breathing, hoarseness, skin rashes/hives, severe headaches, and fatigue. In more serious cases, crew members cite memory loss, nerve damage, severe fatigue and heightened sensitivity to other chemicals. Some cabin crew have provided medical reports that cite physical abnormalities in the blood, optic nerve, and nervous system that their doctors attribute to "pesticides", or, more generally, "some nerve gas" or "some chemical exposure". Canadian and British cabin crews have unsuccessfully petitioned for protective gloves and masks. | TIP: Take Liver Detoxification tablets/Milk Thistle before, during and after flight. Nutri Liver Formula | | | | | PREGNANCY Some airlines don't allow flying during the last few weeks of pregnancy. Travel during pregnancy is fine in normal pregnancies (except perhaps the last few weeks), if you take the following steps to ensure your comfort and physical safety: | TIP: Ginger is very effective against 'morning sickness'. Take some ginger teabags with you and ask the air crew for a cup of hot water. | | Go to page 1 2 3 4 5 6 | | |
