mussel, Perna canalicus, found only in the clear, unpolluted water
surrounding New Zealand. It is taken by millions of people throughout
the world to help maintain joint mobility. Each gelatin capsule
contains 350mg stabilised green lipped mussel extract.

DiCalcium Phospate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Tablet Coating (Hydroxypropyl
Methylcellulose, Colours: Titanium Dioxide & Copper Chlorophyllin, Glycerin),
Silicon Dioxide, Stearic Acid, Magnesium Stearate.
Studies
suggest that one of the active principles in green lipped mussel
extract resides in a protein compound and that its properties are
unique to this type of mussel and not demonstrated by other types of
shellfish.
As
a general rule, benefit is experienced 4-8 weeks after commencement.
However, there have been reports of benefit occurring within 1 week of
commencing the product and some with results only becoming noticeable
after 6 months. For those that experience increase in pain and
tenderness in the first few days after commencement, this condition is
likely to be temporary and precede good results.
