• Betacarotene is a precursor to vitamin A, which is found naturally in plants. 

• Vitamin A works synergistically with vitamin C to provide protection from oxidative damage. 

• Bioflavonoids, such as rutin and hesperidin, are antioxidants found especially in citrus fruit. They enhance the action of vitamin C. 

• The acerola cherry provides a very rich source of vitamin C.
