Hemo-Lyph
A concentrated
iron supplement with synergistic nutrients and tissue concentrates
for use in cases of severe iron deficiency.
- Iron combines
with copper to make hemoglobin, the protein in the blood that
is responsible for its oxygen carrying capacity.
- Iron is
also necessary for the formation of myoglobin, which is the
protein found in muscle tissue that is responsible for its red
colour, and its ability to store oxygen.
- Iron is
a necessary co-factor in many reactions, including collagen
synthesis.
- Iron is
a component of the enzyme catalase, which helps prevent lipid
peroxidation of cell membranes and tissues.
- Iron is
needed for the metabolism of B vitamins and aids HCl production.
- Vitamin
C helps the body to assimilate iron.
- Hemo-Lyph
contains tissue concentrates to help support the function of
the target organ.
- Supplementation
may be useful to ensure an adequate supply of this important
nutrient.
- Hemo-Lyph
tablets are enteric coated.

Each enteric coated Hemo-Lyph tablet
typically contains: Iron (as peptonate) 20mg, Vitamin C 300mg,
Vitamin B-12 300mcg, Folic Acid 400mcg, Niacinamide 10mg, Manganese
(as chelate) 5mg, Vitamin B-1 10mg, Vitamin B-2 10mg, Vitamin
B-6 10mg, Biotin 3mcg, Spleen 75mg, Liver 80mg, Duodenum 35mg,
Stomach 35mg, Parotid 1mg. All glandulars are of bovine source.

by the raw material manufacturer, which guarantees potency (i.e. a

active parts of the plants are used in Nutri-West products. At regular
random intervals, these samples are sent to independent laboratories
for analysis.
All herbs and food concentrates used
in Nutri-West products are certified organically grown whenever available.
All glandular sources are from certified bovine sources. All nutrients
are tested for heavy metal toxicity and contamination by independent
certified laboratories. No artificial preservatives, colourings, additives,
flavourings or stabilisers are used in manufacturing. Nutri-West
products are as hypoallergenic as possible. Common allergy-reactive
substances such as wheat, yeast and corn are avoided.
