New Nordic's test winning BioFirm tablets are recommended to people who feel like they need to "de-junk" and purify their body and want help to maintain natural daily cleansing processes.

The tablets are based on a traditional Scandinavian herbal and mineral formula including chicory root, globe artichoke and dandelion.

We are constantly exposed to waste products from the food we eat, alcohol, chemicals and environmental pollution. Our modern diet is carbohydrate rich and protein low, which slows down our body's cleansing processes. Our body has to eliminate 2 kg's of waste products every day.

The tablets contain chicory root and artichoke which work in harmony with our body to help the break down of fats in the intestines and help maintain a healthy function of the liver-bile-system. The tablets also contain dandelion, which stimulates a healthy production of urine to flush away water soluble wastes. The function of the liver-bile-system and the production of urine are vital for daily internal cleansing and purification.

Dosage
2 tablets 3 times a day, taken with a main meal for a minimum of 2 weeks.
Remember to drink plenty of water, not less than 1 litre per day - preferably 1.5 to 2.0 litres per day. The results will be significantly enhanced if you follow the plan for at least a further 2 weeks and ideally 6 weeks.

How often should I detox?
All people are not alike. Eating habits and body functions are different. If have you been over indulgent for years, you might need a longer detoxification period. For most people twice a year for 4-6 weeks will be sufficient to make you feel clearer, full of energy – and lighter. Although some people who have had great results with BioFim have continued with a dosage of 1 tablet 3 times daily.

How will I react to a detox plan?
When a detox plan starts to take effect after 2-3 days, some people will experience:
Headaches - because your body will lack the chemicals that you normally feed it by drinking coffee, tea, alcohol, and eating sweets. Drink lots of water and relax as much as you can. You can lower the dosage of BioFirm for a couple of days if your headaches get severe. Drink 1.5-2 litres of water a day.
Spots - As the skin is the body's largest organ of elimination you may experience spots as toxins leave the body.
Increased bowel movements – this is a sign that the detox plan is working.
These symptoms should only last for a few days.

Can I take BioFirm if I am taking prescribed medication?
Yes. BioFirm is a natural and safe product and can be taken with prescribed medication, but if you have any concerns or questions always consult your GP or pharmacist.
